Maria Tsirona (Μαρία Τσιρωνά, in Greek) is an author, storyteller, artist, and text editor.
She was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. She studied Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and she attended postgraduate studies in the Department of Philosophy, History and Sociology of Law at the same University. She also studied Piano and Music at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki.
Before she becomes a full-time author, she worked as a lawyer for several years.
She has published five novels, a novella, and several short stories, most of them awarded. Her stories have a touch of romance, blue colors of the Aegean sea, bright sunlight and strong feelings.
She lives in Thessaloniki, Greece, with her husband and their two kids, 17 and 15 years old.
